The NQT Year Showcase with Nadine Lyons & Principal Niamh Cullen

This showcase is for NQTs and newer teachers. They will learn from a new teacher leading an inspiring and motivating interview with an experienced school leader and gain insight into the struggles, challenges and triumphs faced by both new teachers and leaders, as they navigate their roles in the teaching profession.

Lesson Planning Made Easy Teachmeet Session with Ciara McGuane

This strategy supports teachers to plan excellent lessons for students – without taking up all their evenings and weekends! Using a simple 4-Step Framework, teachers will be able to structure and plan a lesson easily!

Aspiring Female Leaders in Education – Addressing the Barriers with Dr Kathryn Corbett, Rachel O’Connor & Ciara McGuane

50% of female teachers would consider leadership in education. (Rahoo Survey. March 2021) Yet, according to DES statistics, only 1 in 15 female teachers are principals.

This unique workshop outlines why it is important that women progress to leadership, the barriers that exist including imposter syndrome, family, confidence and fear of not being good enough and we explore strategies to overcome these barriers. We undertake practical activities and consult with experienced female leaders in this workshop.

Assessment for Learning – 10 Steps to Mastery with Ciara McGuane

This workshop is for teachers who want to embed no-fuss formative assessment strategies into their teaching. 10 High-impact strategies will be shared. All strategies can be used across age ranges the very next day. Not to be missed!
