Course Author: Elmarie Tipper
Elmarie Tipper is an experienced Primary Teacher who has worked across mainstream classrooms, Autism Classes and special school settings, bringing a deep understanding of inclusive and regulation-first practice to her work. She currently serves as an Assistant Principal II, where she leads curriculum development and restorative practice within her school. Elmarie holds a Master’s in Education (Special Educational Needs) from Trinity College Dublin and works as an adjunct tutor with Hibernia College on the Inclusion and Diversity module of the PMEP. She is also a registered tutor with the Dyslexia Association of Ireland and has presented at both the UDL International Symposium and the DCU Maths in Education Conference. Her expertise spans trauma-informed practice, restorative approaches, UDL, growth mindset and SSE-led whole-school improvement. Elmarie designed this course to equip teachers with practical, evidence-based strategies that build calm, connected and inclusive classrooms where every child can thrive.

This EPV Summer Course provides you with an opportunity to reflect on your current practice and make an action plan to bring forward to the new school year. There are opportunities to collaborate and learn from peers and share ideas with one another in a safe space. Upon successful course completion you will receive your EPV Certificate.
