Course Author: Nadine Lyons
Nadine holds a first-class honours Professional Masters in Education from Dublin City University, where she was awarded the Vere Foster Medal in 2019. She also graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Humanities, majoring in English and Geography, from St. Patrick’s College, Drumcondra. Currently serving as Head of Year 1 at an outstanding British school in Dubai, Nadine’s leadership role encompasses managing relationships with parents and staff, ensuring effective organisation, utilising data and assessment to drive progress, promoting positive behaviour and pastoral care, and fostering collaboration within her team. As a Lead Practitioner for Maths, Nadine supported colleagues in implementing challenge for all learners, using assessment to inform teaching, and creating engaging, effective learning environments. Her experience includes mentoring teachers, supporting professional development, and promoting innovative, child-centred teaching practices.
This EPV Summer Course provides you with an opportunity to reflect on your current practice and make an action plan to bring forward to the new school year. There are opportunities to collaborate and learn from peers and share ideas with one another in a safe space. Your learning is supported by your Professional Tutor and the Rahoo team to ensure a smooth process.
Upon successful course completion you will receive your EPV Certificate.
Rahoo Summer Courses are two weeks in length each throughout the summer period:
Group 1: 1 – 14 July 2025
Group 2: 14 – 25 July 2025
Group 3: 28 July – 8 August 2025
Summer Courses must be completed in the allocated time-frame.
It is not possible to accommodate changes.
