Many of us are feeling hopeless and desperate as we continue to watch the horror of what is happening to innocent people in Gaza. We may have shared on social media, emailed politicians, donated money and spoken to friends and feel like there is nothing we can do.
We feel like that too.
But we wanted to keep trying to help, in our own way, and whatever way we can.
EPV Summer Course Gaza Donation - Learning to Play; Playing to Learn
In 2024, Rahoo proudly donated €2,965 to UNRWA Emergency Gaza Appeal.
In 2025, Rahoo proudly donated €1706.25 to UNRWA Emergency Gaza Appeal.
This money has raised through our pledge to donate €5 for every teacher who does this summer course with us.

This course really highlights the special time that is childhood – we are very excited about bringing it to teachers. It saddens Gillian and Ciara that the children in Gaza are having their childhoods destroyed and, in thousands of cases, cut short.
We hope that this gestures is seen for what it is – two mothers trying to do something to help.

I am an experienced Special Needs Assistant, educator, and advocate for inclusive practice. I hold a Master’s degree in Inclusive Education and SEN and a Level 9 postgraduate qualification from Trinity College Dublin. Through my work with SNA Academy, I create high-quality CPD webinars and training programmes that support SNAs, teachers, and schools nationwide. As the Editor of AMYGDALA magazine, I am committed to amplifying SNA voices and promoting evidence-informed approaches that strengthen collaboration and inclusion. Outside of my professional work, I love travelling and seeking out experiences that inspire creativity and wellbeing.
