3 Teacher Instagram Accounts We LOVE!
Whether you’re a trainee teacher, NQT or more-experienced and you are looking for a community of teachers to collaborate, get tips from and steal ideas, seeing a little square of advice or a short story on Instagram can be re-invigorating and inspiring!
Who needs CPD right?!
Only joking, of course!
We mentioned in a previous post how our love for teacher accounts on Instagram grew in 2019 and this being the month of LOVE, we want to share 3 that stick out for us and why!

Clara is a lecturer in education. Her specialism is literacy. She is extremely passionate about effective strategies for teaching and embedding literacy – and it shines through on her Instagram page.

What can we say about Niamh?
Niamh is a full-time teacher and part-time lecturer in education. Again, she is extremely passionate about teaching and learning and supporting other teachers in the profession.
She is down to earth and realistic about our expectations of the job, ourselves and workload.
She often uses Stories as a Q & A feature for teachers with queries or issues they would like guidance on – check her out!
Irish Guy Teaching aka Eoghan O Connor
Eoghan is teaching in the Middle East and, in his spare time, shares his experiences on his blog and his Instagram page. He is passionate about taking risks in his profession and trying out new ideas. For example, he took part in our 10 Day Assessment for Learning Challenge.
He is enthusiastic about the job, yet realistic too.
He shares valuable information with teachers who are considering taking the plunge and heading over to the Middle East – take a peek!
