A Virtual Event for Teachers on Wednesday 3rd March 2021 at 7.30pm - 8.30pm!
Who is this webinar for?
You are a teacher who wants to improve how you use ICT and digital tools in the classroom.
You are a teacher who would like a better understanding of what tools are easy to use and effective.
You are a teacher who wants to gain confidence and competence in your use of ICT.
You are a teacher who wants to take risks and learn new ways of doing things.
By the end of this webinar, you will:
- Know how to engage students in learning by using digital tools, instead of worrying about which ones to use.
- Have clear, practical guidance on using ICT to enhance teaching and learning, instead of scrawling the internet for ideas.
- Feel empowered to take the next step in your journey to becoming a digitally savvy teacher, instead of feeling unsure of what to do next.
- Be able to support colleagues with ideas and know-how for their classroom, instead of being unable to help or offer suggestions.
Why have you created this webinar?
We created this course because we want to support you in enhancing teaching and learning using ICT in the classroom.
We are passionate about professional development for teachers and have worked with over 5,000 teachers since 2017. As a teacher, you are the most important person in the classroom – you make the greatest impact on the students in front of you.
What is included?
“Enhancing Teaching & Learning with ICT in the Classroom” is 1 hour in duration including Q&A opportunities.
This webinar will be presented by a prominent member of the Rahoo team, Claire Daly.
Claire is a primary school teacher whose passion for ICT led her to complete a Masters degree in Trinity College titled ‘Technology and Learning’. In 2017, she was awarded the inaugural ‘Bianca Ní Ghrógain’ award from the Computers in Education Society of Ireland (CESI) which recognised her innovation in classroom practices.
Thank you for taking the time to check out this webinar.

My name is Lorraine and I run the social media pages All Things Primary! I am a mum of 2 and 2 fur babies, deputy principal, a keen gardener, white wine and book loving red head!
It is that time of year… planning and preparing for our online summer courses has well and truly commenced.
Teresa, Principal of a primary school in Cork and more recently during lockdown- a “highlighter” reader. Teresa loves working as a principal and has a fantastic team of colleagues that create a warm and safe environment for students to flourish.
Rebecca, Second Class teacher in an Educate Together school in Dublin and more recently during lockdown- a DIY fanatic. I completed my BA in St. Patrick’s College, my PGCE & NQT year in England, taught abroad for three years in Qatar and now I am back in Ireland for the second year. I love teaching English and enjoy getting really creative with lessons.
I remember when I was on teaching practice, and especially when starting out in my own classroom as an NQT, I was so enthusiastic and saw so many different ways of embedding AfL in the teaching and learning in my classroom. I, at times, tried to do too many AfL techniques at once…
I have been teaching 1st class for the past three years and enjoy working on the In-school Management Team also. Last year I had the opportunity to develop a Yearly planner for Special Education Teachers and have loved that experience. 2021/22 is on the way, watch this space!
